Which way is best?

OK, I've got this Boogie 50/50, Quad Preamp and a Rane PEQ. What's the BEST way to hook this up??
Considering the PEQ is MONO and the Quad is stereo, the 50/50 is obviously stereo.

I don't know the rules about this, but should I put the EQ in the FX loop?? I doubt it.

Yeah, the effects loop would probably be the best place. This way your EQ is shaping the tone after the preamp section. Also this would allow everything to stay stereo instead of getting busted down to mono if you go from the preamp to the EQ to the power amp.

Yeah, I've found that EQs usually sound better in the effects loop.
