This pedal makes a great sounding tube amp sound even better and a crappy sounding tube or solid state amp sound even crappier. It enhances everything which is a really bad thing if you get bad sound. Useless for solid state. Works great on master volume tube amps. It is an outstanding pedal. -

My buddy that plays Gravy in Mushroomhead, actually used TWO of them together for a while into a Marshall 800 100 watt head. He loved that setup... He sat at guitar center for a couple hours trying every pedal they had, and ended playing around with two of the DOD YJMs as a joke, and said it sounded brutal. He was laughing.
I found it pretty funny myself when he told me. But, I trust his judgement on tone as he is a REAL shredder, and we do actually have similar tastes. Not that you'd notice it in "that" band whatsoever.Comment
