Which of this is better? I basically want a machine, as user freindly as possible, that will give me good drum and synth sounds. Any other suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

The PMA-5 is awesome. I have owned one for over 5 years and have done everything from published professional songs to jingles that I have sold locally. I use it for guitar practice, writing, and as a sound canvas for my other midi synths. A Roland PMA-5 and a $99.00 controller together give you a full midi multitrack workstation. It even has a built in touch keyboard so you can do complete productions while you are on the road or in your car. It is as good as it gets. It will blow you away. surely. -
