  • How do I remove the chassis from my Marshall head?

It's a 1990 JCM 800 2210. I'm thinking of redoing it in snakeskin Tolex. How do I remove the chassis from the casing?

There's four screws that go through the feet on the box into the chassis. Remove those and then carefully slide the chassis out the back of the box. This is usually easiest if you leave the cab upside down. Just make sure you don't let it crash on the transformers or tubes.
