Has anyone tried this? I have been getting pissed with my DSP 2024P and 1010 foot controller. The delay, reverb and modulation sounds are great but, the distortions are useless (to me). The delay between patches is the biggest turn off.
I took one of these ME-50's home last night and the thing is perfect for my needs. I like the set up, you just set you effects and/or tone and save it to a patch, tweak the knobs again and make 30 different patches. You can make a rhythm tone, save it then tweak that tone for a lead, say fatten it up boost the level add delay/chorus and save to the next patch without having to start from scratch and all the parameters are right there like a big stomp box. You can even add on external switches to trigger up/down bank or turn on/off either tone modify or comp/sustainer.
Anyone else use one of these?
