I am sooo blown away by my new Peavey TubeFex preamp I can't even start telling you about it!... I played for like 10 minutes when I brought it home and then I had to go to the washroom to wipe off the tears... shivers going down my spine, thoughts of old Maiden Concerts came to my head!... wow!....

This is like the first time I buy a preamp and I like the presets!... this preamp gives you ALL possible 80's sounds right off the box!... lots of gain and sustain... compression for a whole family and the effects are soupy and grossely over-processed just the way I like them!... beautiful!...

Hmm, I've wanted to play with one of those for years just cuz I read about Queensryche using them. Not what I'd want for my forever sound, but a cool tool in the bag of tricks.
