Low wattage amp sound clip sample!

Hi all, I have been boasting about my Crate VC508 5 watt amp and my Crate DXJ112 modeling amp for a while now. I use them for recording only. I have a song sample I just threw together and here it is http://www.mech.ubc.ca/~rodrigo/leadsolo.mp3

By the way, here is what I used.
Equipment used:
Peavey Wolfgang Korean Quilt top
Crate VC508 5 watt amp for rhythm tracks
Crate DXJ112 modeling amp (for the solo only)
I recorded this straight into my Zoom MRS-4 recorder and straight into my sound card.
Drums are from my Roland PMA-5 recorder /sequencer

Might want to watch your levels - that was clipping pretty bad, at least on my mp3 player. Was hard to hear the amp tone. I think it sounded good, but I couldn't really tell for sure.

hmmm Pete, it doesn't clip at all when I play it back. It is a really hot mix but it isn't clipping. Anybody else notice clipping??

yes, but the clipping is not too bad and I really like the tone and the playing...

I disagree that it is not possible to hear the tone of the amp, I can...

John, just mix again the clip, check the levels.

I use Winamp, so I just turned off my EQ and the clipping was gone, and DAMN, that is one mean track. That is a nice tone and some wicked playing!!
