  • Effects gear + PC recording

After finally finding the patience and free time to sit down and and troubleshoot my PC recording setup, I was finally able to make it work the way I'd always imagined: guitar amp > mic > mixer/preamp > PC > decent recorded sound! Thanks to those who gave me mixing advice a month or two back -- I finally got this Behringer to play nice with my recording card. But now, time for a new piece to the puzzle.

I picked up a used ART ProVerb for $35 yesterday, and not really needing it for my guitar setup, decided to use it for PC recording. I'm just looking for the most beneficial way to connect it. My Behringer mixer has Aux Send and Return connections, so I'm assuming that this would be the ideal location for it (equivalent of an amp effects loop?), but I could also run directly from the mixer to the ProVerb to the PC's 1/4-inch inputs. Any pros or cons to either setup?
