effects pedal question

I'm wanting to add effect pedals. I've never owned any before but I've used the Boss MT-2, that one I'll be getting. Beyond that, I'm not sure what else I need. I like Randy Rhoads, Iron Maiden, Queensrych, Van Halen, Def Leppard...well maybe you get the idea of the styles I like. I'm thinking maybe a GE-7 Equalizer, but other than that I'm not sure. Ideas? This will be running through a Peavey Bandit 112...Thanks

Youre going to want to look into a Chorus pedal and a Delay also to attain the vibe of the bands you listed. Also a compressor/sustainer unit adds too the sounds you are looking for.
