    I had the same thing once and it was the power tubes. It was more noticeable when palm muting too. I lightly tapped my tubes and one had that rattle so I got a new quad set and never heard it again.

      Dude, if you don`t end up likeing the Rectifier, and want to sell it and get a Killer Distortion and a great Clean, look no further than the VHT Pittbull Classic 100 Head, extreme distortion with a very good clean!! Get the one without Reverb, and you get the Depth switch instead, an awsome knob on that amp. They are very pricey, but I love mine alot, except mine is a Combo, but I run her thru a Madison 4x12 and it crushes [img]graemlins/headbang.gif[/img] Jack.
