My friend needs help.

My friend just got a new amp , its a marshall MG30 ( dont laugh lol ) , he use to have a fender 10 watt amp with a dod death metal infront of it ( oh the horror ) and he said he likes the sound of the MG but wants more distortion , is there any pedal he can use to get more distortion out of it without it sounding like ass , he really wants to add to the distortion channel not just get a pedal for the clean channel unless it will sound better than his lead channel already.

Ummmmm......Boss Mt-2 Metal Zone, Digitech heavy metal. Those two are pretty good,and he can customize the sound.
