• Good computer recording forum?

Greetings, sorry for the slightly OT topic.

I'm looking for a reputable forum for learing / discussing digital recording issues: software, soundcards, control surfaces, plugins, etc.

I tried audioforums.com, but if there is intelligent life there, they never post.

My google searches have led to a series of dead ends, so I thought I'd ask you guys.

Thanks!

You can try here . Every BB has its garbage (except JCF!!) but there's a ton of info there.

Ok here is my list of cool recording related forums (just note that those aren't computer and software only forums. But they have a section about this topic amongst others like hardware and mixing. Many pros are there!):

http://gearslutz.com/board/index.php3?s=

http://www.recording.org/cgi-local/ubb/ultimatebb.cgi

http://recpit.prosoundweb.com/index.php

Those are the best three i have found so far. Harmony Central is also cool but not as cool as those. Sometimes to much nonsense on harmony central (although the recording forum on harmony central is one of the best harmony central forums , it really gets much worse ). Oh and sometimes on the recpit forum there is also very low and bad talk You just have to ignore it. But the knowledge that is spreaded there is top.
Hope this helps.

Wow. Not joking - once again, JCF-ers have come through. This is EXACTLY what I had been looking for the past few weeks (I don't know how I missed them.)
