Since the Emulated Line-Out jack on my Marshall VS100 is gone (the previous owner took it out for some reason [img]graemlins/scratchhead.gif[/img] ), I can't direct record to my computer.

I wondered if I could run a cable from the FX Loop Send > Sound Card Line-In with no problems.

Will this work?

It should be working since you get a normal line level signal from the FX loop send.
However i doubt you will get a nice sound. Maybe it's ok for clean playing but for distorted playing normally directly recording without a speaker simulation sounds horrible.
But you have to try to see if it suits your likes.
