Sovtek 6L6 questions.

I have a pair of Sovtek 6L6 GB's. They are a matched set I got in a trade for a Zoom 505. I cannot find any info on these anywhere. Are they a good replacement for the Sovtek 5881's which currently reside in my BV 60H ? I play heavier 80's-90's stuff and some Nu-Metal. I also use a POD XT in the loop bypassing my amps preamp. Any tube suggestions or observations pertaining to my setup would be appreciated. Thanks.

I used Sovtek 6L6GBs in one of my Peavey Classics, up until I had a little mishap and had to have it repaired. The amp came with the Sovteks installed, and I was using an ART Xtreme for distortion. For thrash and death metal tones, it sounded great to me, although I've read that some people prefer the 6L6GC for a bit heavier crunch.
