I haven't tried one, but for $150 when the Pro XT rackmount is $699.99 at AMS and MF, doesn't seem you could go wrong at that price!

Right, but as this thread has pointed out it doesn't come in a rackmount format, wheras the POD Pro Charvelguy mentioned IS a rackmount unit,
for $150. That IS the whole point of this thread - that the J-Station ISN'T available in rackmount - right?

Maybe you didn't realize I was replying to Charvelguy's post?

More or less, give or take a few detours.
Thanks for the input Rich..

I guess that is a no brainer.. el cheapo price whether you likey or not.

I guess I was wondering if they're reliable as some of the Pods had problems. It would be a good addition for the money as far as preamps go.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">My bad. I would jump on a new Pod pro rackmount at $150.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Pete (Twisteramps) knows a lot about PODs. I've read posts about various models as they got upgrades and fixes for
problems such as you're concerned about.
He could probably tell you if that model had problems, fixes or upgrades, and may
be able to tell you how to recognize if the unit you're looking at buying has had
the fix/upgrade.

Since I just saw a POD 2.0 go for $214.50
I'd say the Pro would go for more than that on Ebay if you decided you didn't like it.

Hope you do like it, though! If not, let me know!
