This guy at my rehearsal studio had a 4x12 cab with 2 blown speakers, so i sold him 2 vintage 30's i had. The speakers that were already in the cab are 16ohm and the vintage 30's are 8ohm's. What would i need to do to wire that cab up for him to run at 8ohm mono?

Re: 4x12 wiring help
You cant.
The closest you can get is to series a pair of 16 and 8. That gives you 20 ohms.
Parallel that with the other seriesed 16 and 8 and you have 10 ohms.
Out of that series combo, the 8 will see roughly 1/2 the power the 16 will see.
Not a good thing.

Re: 4x12 wiring help
Wow. Remind me never to post 1st thing in the morning.
I was thinking 16 and 4 and wrote 16 and 8.
Anyways, series the 16's and series the 8's.
Then parallel them.
16 + 16 = 32
8 + 8 = 16
1/(1/32 + 1/16) = 10.67 ohms.
Sorry for any confusion my brain fart might have caused.
