Hey, I'd buy it if it sounded like a 5150 at all!! A little more edgey would be even beter.

I'd love to have that sound in my arsenal, I think...

Since you guys were talking about the rockmaster preamps, has anyone seen one of the old rockmaster heads for sale?? I had one in about 1986 and like a dumbass I sold it. It was an awesome head and I'd like to find another one. I actually sold a marshall jcm800 to buy it!!

I have to agree - the ENGL has great gain, but not a helluva lot of bottom.
I DO have a 2 channel non MIDI ENGL 620 that I'd let go if you're interested. Get an EQ pedal, and you're ready to go...
