Anyone played one? To me... they kick complete ARSE! I had a 5150 Combo and got rid of it. Don't get me wrong.. It was great.. but only great at one thing. I MUST have a good clean sound as well.
I can get soooo many tones out of the Peavey XXL it is sick. I can even get the 5150 sound pretty close AND IT'S A SOLID STATE AMP! Also selectable between 25, 50 and 100 watts.
Peavey has done good with the transtube technology.. to my ears I can't really tell much difference.. but my wallet will!
