Just a heads up for the MN JCFers, that the Music Go Round store on University Avenue near Northtown Mall has a Jackson Apogee 50 combo (2x12, solidstate pre/tube power) for $450. They must have just got it in recently, and although I didn't get a chance to fire it up, it physically looked to be in fantastic shape. I'm assuming it had Celestion V30s, but didn't have time to verify. Figured someone might be on the lookout for one of these.

I played it - it's been around since the beginning of the summer. We've talked about it before. It's in GREAT condition. There's another one down at Encore about $100 cheaper.
I've noticed a few of them around, and I think they're the amps that Banks blew out about 6-7 years ago. They were the ones in the warehouse that got damaged by the tornado in FtWorth. I had a Jackson Reference 50 halfstack from Banks, and about 3 or 4 San Dimas Series Charvels from them as well. Wish I could find more deals like those...
