ok i have recenlty purchsed a peavey classic vtx becuase my dad has always had a killer 80's sound on his,but ive noticed mine does not get loud as his,or maby ive got used to it,even though my ears are ringing,i need more,i have it set on hard rock from the mannuel,im thinkin new tubes,i need some thing that screams like pantera but i can still do some skynard,i opened the back a minute ago and saw groove tubes by fender...im wondering if theres a better choice for my taste,any ideas,another idea i had is a multi effect pedel like boos,toneworks,zoom,digiteck ect..?
