hi guys, anyone recorded with an amp modeller before? if so, which amp modeller do you use? i'm considering a V-Amp 2 or a Johnson J-Station. mainly because they are cheaper than the PODs.

I have a Vamp-2 and it is great for direct recording.
I happen to like the sounds I can get out of it, I guess many people don't. If you can get the sounds you want it is VERY convenient for recording.

I use a v amp 2 for recording and I'm pretty happy with it. It's really versatile and to me sounds at least as good as the pod that was out when I bought it. it's great for whaT I need cause i record while everyone else is sleeping. All the mp3s at web page were done with it except for the bean.
