What is the difference between the High Sensitivity and Low Sensitivity settings on the back of the power amp?

High sensitivity / -10dB is for typical line output like preamps and effects units, and low sensitivity / 0dB can be used (with a pad circuit) for actually running a low wattage head into.
They show a pad circuit in the manual but don't say just how much wattage it can take. Has a 100 watt resistor in the circuit though...
Seems somewhat dangerous to me for the head, but it's in the manual...
