ok..so i have a 5150 right. and ive already got a carvin legacy cab going. but it just isnt enough .....i need more volume....so ive decided to get another cab. only problem..is that it seems like all you guys think that the 5150 cab is the best matching for the 5150 ......but i have found a vht cab for about 500...when i compare the prices for a new 5150 cab and a vht cab the difference is about 400 bucks....im not a big fan of ebay...and i usually like to buy stuff locally.....so im probably going to have to end up buying the 5150 cab.new..but the vht cab..i can get used....for about the same price..... just wondering what you guys think. mainly im conserned with which one sounds better with the 5150.

Well the VHT cab would be a better cab for something like a mesa or a vht or anything else imo , BUT , the 5150 cab is specialy voiced for the 5150 and will sound better. -
