Right now i have a marshall jackhammer, going into a zoom gfx4 into the amp. I find that i get a great sound if i have the JH-1 volume on full, then bring down the level with the gfx4, and i have the switch on the gfx set to 'active' otherwise the input distorts. I am planning to get a Danelectro fish and chips ( [img]graemlins/brow.gif[/img] ) EQ pedal. What I want to know is, if I run my jackhammer at full volume, and use the EQ pedal to shape the sound after it, would it overload the input of the EQ pedal? the idea being that i only have the EQ on when the distortion is on.
