Stupid Question: BBE 442a thru 5150 head Fx loop

My BBE is too damn bright! I kno it sounds stupid but can any1 shoot me some settings for 442a. I kno its only two knobs but i leave my 5150 at our pratice hall and i never have time to really sit there and get a good sound out of it.

BBE 442a > Boss GE-7 > DOD Ice box (this ice box helps soooo much)

Try running the eq before the BBE...I run my PQ-3 before my BBE in my rack, to me it sounds better when maximizing the eq'd sound.

I just ran it with no eq ...never had "the bright" problem ...only with the newer BBE units...those are nothing but sizzle... [img]graemlins/puke.gif[/img]

Where do you have your presence and treble set at ...and if you have an eq in there take it out ....try that.
