Power supply question??

Hey guys, this is probably an easy one but I am having trouble figuring it out.
I need 10volt AC 7.5VA power supplies for a few Alesis items I have. They are model P2 and P3 from Alesis. Can I use Radio Shack 10volt AC 800ma power supplies? Alesis seems to be the only company that lists their power supplies with a VA volt/amps) rating instead of the more common MA (milliamps) or just amps rating. What is the milliamp value of 7.5 volt amps? Thanks..

800 mA is a healthy supply. and should work most Alesis EQs, and maybe even a micro verb....

Overshoot if you can. If you use a power supply that supplies more than the needed mA, it's ok as it only uses what it needs. If it provides less, the unit may do odd things, distort, or just not work.
