Congrats dude!! I have a 1993 VHT CLX Pittbull combo with EQ and love it!! I switched from regular EL34s to Big Bottle EL34s and now it has more headroom and bottom end, it was great with the EL34s and now is the ultimate with the BB EL34s [img]images/icons/grin.gif[/img] I run mine either alon as the combo with 2 Celestion Lead 80s or thru my Madison 4x12 cabinet, either way sounds great [img]graemlins/headbang.gif[/img] I would love to try the Ultra Lead and Boogie Dual Rec to compare to my CLX, would be fun to play all 3 back to back to back [img]graemlins/drool2.gif[/img] Jack.

nice. I have a UL as well. I agree too with your other comments. I had an SLO with all the mods (depth too) and a VH4s. My Engl Savage is better than then (for me) but it still backs up the VHT. The smoothness and low end are great.

I do recommend JJ KT-88's in that amp. I could feel the difference in my chest.

and high rated speakers to handle all that w/ out turning to flab.
