budget amp question....

Ok, the time has come for me to buy a new amp and Im shopping for a rackmount system. Id like to get some opinions on the V-amp and some of the cheaper power amps out there.
My wife says no Mesa. [img]images/icons/frown.gif[/img] (divorce is not an option....although)

The Vamp2 is excellent but it isn't a power amp. It is a modeling preamp effects processor.

I just got a power amp really cheap, so Im mainly looking for a modeler like the v-amp od a pod if I can find one.

mesa 20/20 power amp off ebay is fairly cheap

Well guys, heresd what I did. A friend and I built a really nice 4 X 8" cab, and I bougth a new SoundTech( ya, ya, I know) 150 watt power amp and a V-Amp rackmount unit. Grand total, 350 bucks incluiding all the material to build the cab.

You may think Im crazy, but I love the way this thing sounds! Its got more bottem end than my ex-wife, and thats a lotta bottom!
