Ok,I called the tube store and was asking for some help with what brand of tubes to put in my mesa triaxis and 290 power amp.The guy said that he would put all electro harmonics into it the new Eh12ax7a and also Eh 6L6.I was just wondering what you tube gurus thought of this combo?I play all metal and want to get a real nice tight articulate sound.Not a death metal or muddy tone.So what do you think?Paul
