If you want the functionality REALLY CHEAP and you have a computer, you can do what I did. Buy the OLP/Guitar Port starter pack from Music123 for $199. When you get the package, load up the latest Guitar Port software from the Line 6 website and you've got a harddrive full of tasty tones... Then, sell the OLP guitar for $150 and you're laughing - a great amp-modeling practice/recording kit for $50! [img]images/icons/grin.gif[/img]

as for the vamp2, i thought the sounds were a little lacking compared to the pod xt, however, it is quite the bargain.
how about the yamaha magic stomp, anyone tried these?
