I bought a Model 3B recently and the pickups are bugging me. It's too bright for my taste and doesn't have enough bass. The preamp that's in it is being a ***** and I'd rather not screw around with more batteries anyway. It has one P style and one J style pickup. I'm looking for massive bass output, but not to a tonal destruction degree. Suggestions?
