BUT.. I did have a set of these in an Antique White Epi LP Custom that I had and it made that guitar absolutely SING!! It would honestly sustain for days... I was really surprised at the difference it made. I'm thinking about putting a set in that Vandy I bought.. It's basically the same wood/pickup configuration as a LP, so I figure it would be a good set up for it.. I did have a Kramer Nightswan (Mahogany body on that one, too..) that had two 81's in it, and that thing was a beast!! Just my .02 cents.. Sorry, no refunds..
