I'd like to know what you think of your herbert?
what tubes are you using in it now?
that combo of el34 6l6 and kt88's sounds like a good idea!
so what do you use it for, and how do you think it stacks up for metal, I keep hearing people say it's not powerful enough for death metal, but I just don't believe that?

People who say it doesnt stack up on death metal are deaf. I have put my herbert next every Bogner , and soldano and my VHT UL and ,i think it has the most brutal sound out of them all. I use the KT88/EL34 combo for the best of both worlds and let me tell you , its bliss to your ears. I have a band and i run it ( my herbert ) and my UL in stereo and it is just awsome , i will never sell my herbert [img]images/icons/grin.gif[/img] . Dont take my word for it , go play one and look at the reviews on harmony central , it has a perfect 10.

It's just I don't think I'll have the ability to play it. I might have a chance but it's not looking to good at the moment.

Do you have any recorded tones of the herbert? other than the ones available from tone merchants.

what cabinets are you using with it?
