Re: New amp!
hey man, thry this setting.
bass 10 mid 10 treb zero presence zero gain 10 volume = turn it up untill you get the high end back that you desire. (if its too bassy its not loud enough)
these are the Paul Reed Smith setting. as he described them during and instore clinic.
he basically said that your high end and break up was best delivered by pushing the tubes and speakers properly. not by the amps treb and presence.
if you do this - you will then find that if you turn up the treb at all, you will notice a loss in vulome and tone.

Re: New amp!
I was really surprised at all the tones available... and you can tweak the crap out of it. It does a reasonable Fender impression all the way to brain melting distortion. I've been fooling around alot this afternoon with the lead channel on the "vintage" voicing. One negative though is that I think the rectos sound best with their matching cab, which I don't have. Right now I'm using the amp with a Marshall 2X12 and the G12-T's are a bit brittle sounding (it works great with my DSL though).
I'll check out that setting DR and let you know how it goes.
I'm surprised when people slam these amps and call them "farty" or "muddy". Mine has great definition, which was one of the reasons why I bought it.
