I purchased this just before christmas. I have never had a guitar processor before so I was a little skeptical about how it would sound. It has a 3 level noise gate, 3level compressor. It has 3 modulating effects (chorus, tremolo, phaser)which can only be used one at a time. Programable delay, reverb, and delay plus reverb. The amps it simulates are Fender 65 twin reverb, 57 tweed deluxe, matchless dc30, mesa dual rectifier, mesa boogie mark II,78 marshall, vox ac 130, high gain tube amp, rectifier and high gain hypermodel, hot rod and brit stack hypermodel, and vintage fuzz distortion. The cabinets are direct, british 4x12,2x12, american 4x10,2x10, vintage 4x12, tweed 1x12, green 4x12, blonde 2x12,genetx2x12,4x12. You can plug your cd player into it, headphones, line out to your pc, foot switch jack, lft and rt out.
I wasn't expecting much from this unit. I have always played through amps with various pedals, but since I have purchased this I haven't turned my amp on once, I plug my head phones in and jam. From what I have seen of the PODs they are more versitile, but this only set me back $75 new in box. I have seen some on the bay for $50 so I'm not complaining. If you are looking to try a cheap guitar processor give this one a look.
