ive had a 5150combo for a while now, something like 6 months..and all of a sudden a few days ago i got the sportnews out of it
today i recognised what channel it is and its a TV channel i didnt know my guitaramp could pick up tv signals...
its really loud on the lead channel, just normal radio volume...if i keep the guitar still its really annoying.
the problem occurs with 2 guitars...when i roll back the volume on the guitar it goes away...
any help??
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">try a power bar zeno , a good one . I had problems like this [no porn though damn lol] and the power bar cleared things up . never had a problem since , I think I am running into 2 though right now like a chain . also if your place ain't grounded right [wall jacks] you'll have problems forsure . but try a power bar and see what that does , or move your amp to another part of the room that'll help forsure . //Steve
When I use my Vox Wah pedal and it is in the up or down position (can't remember), I get a Mexican station. It's very faint, took me awhile to figure out what it was. I'm glad I'm not the only one that has experienced this. I was afraid to tell anyone!
my friend has this happen on her shitty bass amp, you'd hear a radio signal if you rested the unconnected end, which is the end that's supposed to be plugged into the guitar, on your palm...funny shit science is.
cheers

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">like a 5 slot plug in with surge protection ? some times you hook your pc up with one so if your in a storm or have a power surge in your electrical outlet it won't damage your gear or pc ? I don't know what you guys call em down there but up here they are called surge protectors or power bars . you can find cheap ones for a buck or real nice ones up to 60 bucks , the higher end ones will be grounded and protected real nice , something to look into anyway , you can find em at any hardware store or pc supply store . //Steve
