• Bogner Uberschall new and used prices?

Anyone have an idea what Uber's go for new and used?

I can get a new one in my area for $2350 out the door. I *think* I've seen them on ebay for $1700-1900 or so when they do pop up.

Can anyone else chime in on prices? My wife gave me the ok to get one (I'll probably sell my VHT and probably my Wartribe Warlock). I'm also still seriously considering the Framus Cobra.

I've seen them as low as 1600 sometimes. But generally they are in the price range you posted.

$2325 is the set price for a new Über. Bogner has a set price policy similar to Mesa. When you send in your warranty card, you have to include a copy of the sales receipt. If a dealer sells their amps below the set prices, Bogner will pull their line from the dealer. I've already seen this happen to a dealer once. $1800 +/- is what they're currently sellig for used (and worth every dime ).

Yeah, those prices seem about right.

Quality amps like that, generally hold their value pretty well. Not a ton of them around, and they are coveted. That particular one is wanted by a lot more people than most boutique too, as it is voiced nicely for the detuned 7 string material and is in general, very good at most heavy stuff.

The upside, is people usually take good care of that type of equipment.

Is there a backlog of orders, or can anybody with enough $ walk in and buy one? Just always wondered that, since I figure they aren't churning out 1,000 units per day.

You need to add 140 dollars to the price of 2325 if you want the metal grill option so 2465 for that one.Looks as mean as it sounds

$2700 is the "list" price... $2325 is "street" price.

I don't like the look of the metal grill. I think it looks cheezy & it doesn't match the Überkab.

If you look around you can get a good new price on one. I got mine in Nov w/ the metal grill option for $2150 shipped. I didnt even haggle. I just called and thats what they told me. First time shopping there too.

One Bogner dealer in my area has some on order and says they go really fast. Another dealer in my area will only special order them because his don't sell very fast. He says EVERYONE wants to try it but like 1 in 100 will actually buy it.

Well that may be the story that the owner told you, Bill. In reality the Über ripped his dick off and his wife was complaining and demanded that he sells it
