Chandler Tone-X midboost guitar preamp (wah sweep)?

Anyone know anything about these? They came in the first Joe Perry Signature Les Paul. Musician's Friend has them for $50, and I'm thinking of putting one in my Warrior. It's a midboost/wah sweep circuit that seems interesting. http://www.chandlerguitars.com/electronics.html

Similar to the circuit that is in the Spectrum.
I think they are an effective asset if you are already using a floor wah for a midboost/tonal enhancement ala/ Michael Schenker.

Cool. I think I'm going to order one and put it in my Warrior with a DiMarzio X2N and Super 2. The original pups and turbo booster are gone, and the empty hole is bugging me, and this looks like something I'd like to use. [img]images/icons/grin.gif[/img]
