The XT may need to be upgaded via Midi or Usb.
Newer models are Usb plug and play. Go to Line 6
support for more detailed info.

POD XT help

Just got this a week ago...

Can anyone tell me what I need to do to record with it?

Also, when I am using it with an amp and I plug in head phones, the amp gets louder and the tone changes. Anyone familiar?
