J Station through a 2x12?

I was wondering if there was any way to run my J Station into my Mesa 2x12 cabnet without losing any of the sound quality. It sounds great in headphones but if I run it through my head it just doesn't sound the same. Any ideas??

What kind of head?

Are you plugging your J-Station into the effect return of your amp?

Me= J-station>Effects Return (Mesa MkIII)

For now I'm using a Mesa single rectifier head. That might change though? Yeah, Dreamland I wasn't the biggest fan of Johnson stuff either but the J Station was the best $100 I've spent on guitar gear.
