Re: Post your setup........AGAIN
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I haven't received my Triple Giant or my Engl 520 yet, but I do have the Pod Pro and the V-Amp Pro in my rack right now.
I sat down yesterday and today and hooked up both directly to my Boogie 50/50 power amp and tried to tweak out the best possible tone I could without external units and I have to tell you, the V-Amp Pro really did CRUSH the Pod Pro in just about every way. This is a huge statement for me since I've always been a HUGE die-hard Line6 fan.
I am still going to use the G-Major for SOME effects because you can tell the quality of the effects is better for the most part. I really like the "Echo" effect that's in the V-Amp for a slight echo on my solo channel. But, for the chorus/phaser/flanger effects, the G-Major sounds incredible. I do use some harmonizer settings and the G-Major does a great job for those.
SO, Basically, I could get away with the built in effects of the V-Amp Pro and do use these for the most part, but I still like to use the G-Major here and there.
One thing to note: The V-Amp Pro has all of the same effects the Pod Pro does, PLUS a couple that the Pod Pro doesn't. The Pod Pro doesn't have an Auto Wah, Phaser or a Rotary effect (not tremolo).

I love my V-Amp Pro too. Since you have the G-Major, do you still use the V-Amp's effects, or do you just use the V-Amp for amp modeling? I would like a few better effects (e.g., a more VH-capable flanger), and I'd like to be able to run some simultaneously which can't be run simultaneously using just the V-Amp as far as I can figure. A G-Major might be a good item for me to add.
