I've never heard of a feedback destroyer. Is it a brand name or something? Personally I use an old NF-1 noisegate from Boss.

I just put a Seymour Duncan SH-13 in my Weddington, and I was a little worried at first because the feedback was crazy. Even with the noisegate on, every time I stopped playing, all I got was this awful howling. I tried messing with the settings on the noisegate, and the EQ on my amp etc., but it wouldn't go away. Finally I lowered the pickup height by 1mm, and it went away. 1 freakin millimetre!!!!

So you might want to consider that too.

Boss NS-2 Noise Suppressor should do it.

Didn't Behrringer(sp?) make a decent feedback killer? or was that for PA applications only?

A friend of mine was using the Behringer Feedback Destroyer thingie. Don't know exactly if it was with his rack guitar setup or in their PA stuff, or if he's still using/needs it. He seemed to think it did a bang-up job though, from what I remember him saying.
