  • Bridge pick up clean sounds

How would I get a better clean sound from a bridge pick up (Duncan TB-4)? The reason why I'm asking this is because I'll be getting a single hum in the bridge position soon with no neck pickup and I'm trying to find a way to make the clean a litte better.

Yea, I was thinking about coiling splitting it (thats why I asked about splitting earlier)...

Will it have a tone control? If not, maybe add one. If you don't want to drill any extra holes, maybe just put a concentric pot in its place so you can have volume and tone on the same pot. Or add a push/pull to split the coil to give you single coil tones, or maybe parallel wiring to give closer to a single coil P-90 sound than the regular series humbucker sound.
