Mixing speakers in one cab - Randall makes that cab with the 2x12's and the sub. Anyone played through one of those?
I play through a 5150a and a 1960a on opposite sides of the stage. The Peavey is definatly the more metal/thrash of the two. It's high end sings carries the leads better too. It seems louder too. I had to use weather stripping and a long deck screw through the back to eliminate the cabinet farting. Since then it pounds the lows too.
The Marshall is good but you don't know what your missing until you do a side by side comparison.

Remember, parallel connections divide, and series connections add.

hey,
what´s a jcm800 usually loaded with?
g12t75, greenbacks, v30s ??
i finally get one next week
at first i think i´ll wire it up for 4Ohms instead of 16
i think i´ll be very happy with it
it sounded nice, but with a little low output, this will be better with 4 Ohms
