AC Adapter for HUSH

I picked up an original HUSH system iiCX without a AC adapter. I think I'll need a 9vac 850ma. Can anyone confirm this?

That is correct, I have one that I just checked.

850mA @ 9VAC has a barrel connector, prolly 5.5 not sure the inner diameter.

You can of course go higher than the 850mA if you need to. A 1000mA/1 Amp or 1.5 amp unit even will do just as well. It only takes what it needs from a larger source, it won't hurt it.

I have more than one of these. 9vac is always difficult to find at a reasonable price, and these work fine for me. EDIT: But it is only 800ma, sorry, I just noticed that.

I use a Rolls 12vac adapter, too, but they don't have a 9vac listed.

I just looked at the rocktron.com and the ac adapter they have listed in a 9vac/1500ma 2.5mm barrel. I'm going to guess that 2.5mm is the size I'll need. They want $30 plus shipping. Going to do some more web searching.

You could try going to a pawn shop or other second hand store and searching through the adaptors until you find the right power requirements. Just make sure that the voltage and polarity match up.
