pulling tubes

this is probably a stupid question, but i don't know much about tube amps. If you pull a preamp tube and fire up the amp, will it kill it? how about pulling a power tube?

you can pull 2 of the 4 power tube, if you have 4tubes, for divided the power of your amps, but after you have to choose the impedance of your LS /2 on your impedance selector, for it run properly. I don't know if this is clear for everybody

but i don't know why do you want to pull your preamp tube ?
