If it hasn't already been mentioned a decent power conditioner is nice, especially if you already have a rack. If not a power conditioner at least get a good power strip. I always carry an extension cord. Band aids, condoms, neosporin, Marlboro lights, a pen and paper (for giving and taking phone #s) and a host of other items have helped me a few times as well.
