You have to pull the chassis out to get at the fuses. Is it a head or a combo? On the head you have to remove the rear grill, pull the 4 rubber feet off and the chassis will slide out. Sometimes it's a pain because it will catch on the tolex. If it's a combo there's 4 screws on the top that hold it in. Be very careful in there. There's some nasty voltages that can knock you across the room. Make sure it's unplugged.

cool, thanx i found them

i shocked myself once on an amp when i was young
but last year, after putting the engine back in my camaro, i was testing for spark and shocked myself with 45K Volts from my Accel Super Coil.......that was fun i got knocked on my ass

I remember my days of Auto Shop where I would rip off a spark plug wire and shock myself while I was touching someone else and they would get shocked.

Good fun!

I've been whacked many times working on cars (did it for 20 years) but getting hit by the current inside an amp was WAY worse!

yeah i would have to agree

automotive systems are low current

while amps are higher current/ higher voltage

been working in the field for 3 years with 2 years of GM training....not exactly 20 yet
