Have any of you heard of....

One of my co workers has been bugging me about this amp his kid brought home. It's an old tube amp, 2x10 combo with the word (or maybe it's an acronym)RAM. It has a reverb tank with "OC electronic inc, Beautiful girl" On it.

I have not seen or herd it myself so it could be a pile of crap but, I said I would ask.

You sure it's not "RAD"? Fender had a little amp like that a few years or more ago, called the RAD series (Really Annoying Distortion or something) [img]graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

The reverb tank markings definitely indicate Japanese or Chinese manufacture, though. Probably a knockoff of the RAD line.

weren't those RAD amps the ugly little grey carpeted, solidstate wonders? i hope you co-workers kid doesn't have one, although you said 2x10, old tube combo...picture may solve the mystery. Newc, i totally agree with your RAD acronym!! [img]graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]
