I need a power adapter for my dd3 delay, but seems like $20 from Musicians Friend is a bit insane...anybody know where to get one cheaper? Could i just try an adapter from radio shack or something?

If you use a cheapo universal adaptor, it might cause all kinds of hum and other problems. Definitely go with the Boss, but look for the best price of course. In the worst case it's only 20 bucks. If you go with the cheapo solution now, you'll end up buying a Boss later anyway.Comment

not true bro... boss doesn't even make their own power supplies. They are farmed out and private labeled. I have been selling power supplies for over 20 years. It is a major part of my business.Comment

They are a little more milliamps then the Boss version. It really depends on the units being powered.Comment
